Title: What's the word on Global Malt?
Post by: Pawtucket Patriot on December 13, 2010, 01:55:51 PM
After perusing the Munich malt thread (http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/forum/index.php?topic=4971.0), I started looking at my LHBS's dark Munich offerings.  They stock Global Malt dark munich (20L).  I don't think I've ever used Global Malt.  After taking a look at their site, I discovered that they are a conglomeration of German maltsters.  Does anyone have experience with their malts?  High quality?

To my recolection it was 12 to 15L.
It made great Dunkel.

The dark Munich is all I've used and I like it's more robust flavor over Munich II. I've only used it 10-20% of the grain bill.
