Title: Hawaii's Highest Brewery
Post by: punatic on March 06, 2011, 03:31:00 AM
Good news!  A new place to have a beer on Hawaii Island.  It just opened yesterday.  I'll let you know how their beers are as soon as I try them.  Looks like a Sunday ride up the Hamakua Coast to Waimea is in order...

Big Island Brewhaus (http://www.hawaii247.com/2011/03/03/waimea-brewery-taps-first-brews-march-4/?sms_ss=email&at_xt=4d6fc494bf70d9b5%2C0)

Who knew there were ducks in Waimea, eh?

Mexican Cuisine? If the beer is good it'll be a winner!

I really liked Tako Taco, we were hoping the brewery would be open . . . that was a year ago :)  Glad they finally got it going, I can't wait to hear about the beer.

Great news for Hawaai. How far are you from the new brewpub? I love mexican food and beer so for me this would be a winner.
