i just like my blue cooler and my awesome grain mill,..nothing too exotic...some taylor thermometers.,.mostly old style brewing,..good yeast,..thank you WY...local hops,..keep it simple....batch sparging,..i know,...good times,,  what's a pump?

I think that i will stay with the DME and water method on the stovetop and cool and pitch.  It's cheap and easy just like the rest of my brewing. Cigar box stir plate works great also...If it's not broke....

I gotta say,..I get great results with the smack packs and a starter...No reason to change now...kinda like batch sparging in the somewhat rough looking blue cooler...if it isnt broke there is no need to fix anything....easy....

I bought one of those millars mills. I wish i would have bought a JSP mill. The mill i have was made in china and it doesn't stay in adjustment. it was 99 bucks. The bushings for the roller shafts wear out really fast, leaving this black metallic residue. I use a Black & Decker 1/2 inch electric drill to power this mill. It also got stuck alot.   

I like it hot to get all of the goodness in my boil kettle...190-195,

I'm on the same page as Euge...But i use frozen half gallon milk jugs out of the hop freezer...9 or 10 usually does the and easy...
