Oorah, you brewed up a Chesty Puller ale yet?

Got a recipe for that?  I'd love to brew it for my dad and uncle who are Marines.  Although, they'll snivel about drinking beer brewed by an Army puke, lol.

I wanted to brew this as the California style of "Steam Beer".  I couldn't get wyeast 2112, I had to get wyeast 2124 instead.  Do you guys think I'll be OK for this?

Do any of you have any good recipes for a prohibition style ale with a large percentage of corn?

Here is something I just made up in my head and am getting the ingredients next week to brew and try out.

% Amount Name Origin Potential Color - SRM

60.9% 7.00 lbs. Lager Malt(6-row) Canada 1.031 1
26.1% 3.00 lbs. Flaked Corn (Maize) America 1.040 1
13.0% 1.50 lbs. Honey 1.042 0

Potential represented as SG per pound per gallon.
Hops.  Amount Name Form Alpha IBU Boil Time

0.50 oz. Summit Whole 16.50 34.7 60 min.
1.00 oz. Cascade Whole 5.75 8.1 20 min.
1.00 oz. Cascade Whole 5.75 0.0 Dry Hopping.

WYeast 1056 Amercan Ale/Chico
