« on: February 21, 2018, 06:58:40 PM »
Hi Joe - we've updated our club database to include the record you were adding. Sorry about the delay.

Good luck to you and your club members in the NHC this year!

Also - if anyone else needs to update their club's information, or add a club - feel free to fill out the form on the website:

Thanks Matt! I appreciate the help!

Homebrew Clubs / Assistance with Club Directory on AHA Website
« on: February 19, 2018, 10:12:26 PM »
I filled out the "Add a club" form on the AHA website providing all the relevant info back on 1/31.  The message upon completion said to allow one business week for processing.

It is 2/19 and I still cannot find my club in the directory.

I have emailed the AHA Membership Director (I didn't know who else to contact and he had communicated with us recently on a feature about the club on the community page). I have gotten no feedback.

Anyone else I should be asking for assistance? I really want our club members to be able to affiliate their NHC entries with my club.

This Sunday, we are launching what we believe is the nation's first-ever Gluten Free Homebrew Club. A lot of brewers look at a disease like Celiac or Non-Celiac Gluten Intolerance as a career-ender. We are looking to help people continue their pursuit of brewing great beer, in a gluten free way.

Please join us at Groundbreaker Brewing the last Sunday of every month from 2p-3p. Gluten Free homebrew is welcome to bring and share, but it must be strictly GF, no Clarity Ferm beers, they just aren't appropriate for the club or our hosts. ZERO TOLERANCE - The nations first-ever dedicated Gluten Free brew club (we think).

Inaugural meeting:
Sunday 1/28
Ground Breaker Brewing
2030 SE 7th Ave. PDX, OR

Are you gluten intolerant or have celiac disease? Do you still love brewing and want to meet other gluten free brewers to share and discuss GF homebrew?  Please reach out to me at for information regarding this upstart club in the Portland OR area.

This is to be a strictly gluten-free club, no ClarityFerm barley beers*.

Beers brewed with naturally GF ingredients, cider makers and mead or wine also welcome.

Joe Morris

*No judgement against them, but they are not appropriate for this club
