I'm a home brewer in Georgia and am planning a trip to Texas in September (via auto).  I'd like to take a couple of corny kegs of home brew to share with friends and colleagues.

Does anyone know if it's ok (or not ok) to transport home brew across state lines from Georgia, through Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana, to Texas?

Thanks in advance for your comments!

Kegging and Bottling / How Full Should We Fill Our Kegs?
« on: June 17, 2012, 05:45:09 AM »
We've just built a new Keezer (new to kegging) and I'm wondering how full we should fill the kegs.

The Keezer will hold three 5 gallon and one 2.5 gallon corny kegs and I'm thinking that they shouldn't be filled all of the way to the top (i.e. 2.5g in the 2.5g keg) to leave some headroom for the CO2.  However, I'm not sure :(
