any opinions on using wlp810 San Francisco Ale yeast for a coffee northern brown, fermenting at 60°-65°? White Labs website says it can be done.

Got the tweet that results were posted for my site,  I checked and did not place.   My score sheets were in the mail when I got home and one of the entries said it finished in 2nd place.   This is my first time entering, so I do not know what to think, did that mean 2nd in its flight?  It also said it advanced to mini-bos, but no results from that?  Any insights?

Ingredients / smoked malt

Thinking of using 12% smoked malt in a robust porter. Sounds great, but I plan on using 004 Irish ale yeast, will that be an odd combination?
