Ingredients / cider

I am brewing cider this week i would actually like to do 2 batches but dont have the room.  I can't see any reason why I cant freeze 5 gallons of soft cider to use later for hard cider.  I usually use White Labs cider yeast, so I'm not using any naturally occuring yeast already presant in the soft cider to ferment.  is my thinking correct on freezing?

Ingredients / Granola?

So the other day I was sipping on an IPA eating a dried granola snack and it occurred to me that I could use it in a oatmeal stout.  I was eating maple nut granola, so no fruit.  There should be lots of fermentables in this stuff.  I was thinking of seeping it in 155*F water before the boil with the grain.  Maybe a pound should do it.  Has anyone tried this?

I am going to add some blackberries to my fermentor this weekend.  at what rate should I add?  I heard blueberries are 1 pound per gallon.  is it the same with blackberries?  I also realize it depends berryness I really want.

How do you measure Alpha Acidity in the hops you grow?  Do you just go with the average AA for  a specific variety?

I have been growing my own hops this year and was interested in using them straight off the vine.  I am sure I'm not the only one who has thought about this.  Do you use more or less fresh hops than dried?
