I had this happen with an Apricot Pale Ale I did.  I think part of the problem with things like this is we have an expectation of one result and get another.  I set the beer aside for 4 months and now I really like it.  I also put in a home brew club competition for pale ales and it took 3rd place.  Sometimes time will help beer try a bottle every 2 weeks or so and sometime I think we may not like the beer because it didn't come out how we wanted it too.

If you don't mind taking labels off of them then have your friends save them for you.  If not any local home brew store should sell them.

This vial of Czech pils yeast says to use on or before Nov. 11, 2012.  So, how old is it?

The White Labs says their yeast has a 4 month shelf life.  Does this indicate that my vial is ~2 months old?

Count bact 4 months from nov 11 to get a "birth" date of July 11th

I usually give my starters at least 36-48 hours on the stir plate.  (Starter for every 1L water = 1 cup extra pale extract, 1/2 tsp yeast nutrient{I also add during boil}) I cold crash in the fridge for at least 24 hours but would not recommend going over 4 or 5 days.  If you are worried about all the yeast not falling out in 24 hours you could leave it for 48, but 24 should be good.  I usually decant min e right before I start brewing then let it sit at room temp.

Play it safe and stay in the airport.  You're gonna be exhausted and the possibility of missing your flight are too great.  You may have one beer too many and not be allowed on the plane.  That could also happen in the airport but in the airport you aren't rushed and can sip a couple of nice beers instead of looking at the clock and trying to finish "just one more" in time to get back to the airport.

I have been there a couple of times and getting through security was hit and miss, play it safe.  Maybe you could see about staying the night there and flying out the next day I would suggest if you have the chance to check out the city take it.  I loved it there.

Since I didn't get it done last weekend I will be brewing my Apricot Pale Ale.

Going to bottle up a Vanilla Porter and Brew a Apricot Pale Ale.  I am pretty excited to see how the pale ale turns out as this will be my first fruit beer and I am using dried apricots.

I used to be in your same shoes did not ever run.  I was not as big as you were though, but have seen people your size get in to it lose a lot of weight and now enjoy it very much.  When I started I would just go out and walk and run as much as I could 3 to 4 days a week and just tried to build up.  I have never looked at the couch to 5K but have had a few friends that don't run that did it and were successful. If you need a good book to get you motivated read "Ultramarathon Man" by Dean Karnazes. I read that book when I was just doing 5-6 miles a week running then singed up for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon(26.2 miles) 2009 and since then I run 800-1100 miles a year. 

Biggest advice I can give you is like someone else said get the right shoes, and listen to your body don't push too hard or you end up injured and back where you started.  Also find someone to train with, it helps you get up and get out.

I really like all of these breweries about the same they all have many beers that I enjoy.
