The Pub / Re: Wiring a receptacle to a switch.

Awesome, thanks guys. I already had bought a GCFI outlet just in case. Glad to hear I learned a little bit from the people that tried to teach me about electricity!

The Pub / Wiring a receptacle to a switch.

Howdy all! It's been a while since I posted here, but I do check up regularly. I've been busy with the baby and the house, so hopefully I'll be able to get back to brewing soon.

Here's my latest project:
I'm going to install a garbage disposal soon and I need to make sure I have the wiring right before I do it. I plan on putting a receptacle under the sink and controlling it with a wall switch. Below is a diagram for what I want to do. The plan is to connect the black source wire (right box) to the top screw on the switch (middle box), connect the black wire from the receptacle (left box) to the bottom screw on the switch, and connect the white wire from the source to the white wire from the receptacle. Does this all sound right.

BTW, my source is coming from a junction box that also run the other way to my vent-hood above the range. I don't know if that will matter, but I figure I'd throw it out there.

I use 2 4x8 lattices set horizontally and my 2 cascades love it. I picked 4 ounces the first year and lots more last year. Yeah, it's kind of a pain taking the bines off in the fall, but I don't mind.

I like cheese.
Sometimes I eat too much cheese, though, and I can't poop for a couple days.

Someday she'll probably love your beer, but in that picture she doesn't look impressed whatsoever. :D

She has the "Really, Dad? Really?" look in that picture.

Excellent description.

Yup, that's exactly what I thought when I saw her expression, too!

Here's my daughter when she was 4 months old sitting in my new brew ketle.

I've been to 3 La Bamba's in Illinois: Charleston, Champaign, and Carbondale. There seems to be a common denominator between those towns....

The taste of the oxalate would not be detectable because of the flavored meat, but consuming the meat reportedly caused their enemies pain and death.

Remind me to punch my brother in the nose next time I see him! I experienced the pain, for sure. The death, not so much.

My brother had one he got from a friend. Apparently he had the joke played on him and thought that it would be funny to pass it on. He told me Indians used it like Novocaine and told me to try chewing a slice for a few seconds.

So I did.

After chewing it for 10 seconds, it took a minute to kick in. It was like the sensation you get when your legs fall completely asleep then you try to walk; pins and needles, but times 10 and it lasted for 20 minutes.

Funny in retrospect, awful at the moment.

Anybody ever experienced chewing this stuff? Don't worry admins, it isn't a drug. I'll just say this for now, for me, it was an experience I'll never forget or try again!

Did that sign come from a La Bamba's restaurant?

I like pretzels, the hard kind in a bag. When the drinking is over, Taco Bell is a must.

The cover of the album that song is on is frightening...
