this might work
setup looks suspect to me

In season five of popular showtime drama main character "Frank" decides to start brewing super gravity beer. if your only allowed one beer a day why cant it be 65 abv. How accurate would say the prop department is on his 3 tier into pot still? looks bassackwards to me. What do you more experienced guys think?

I've made a dual tap out of a gum ball machine. Still dispenses treats along with the sweet sweet nectars.

Too cool man! Never seen that one before.

Ahh thank you, no sugar, upped the rye to 20% of grist. Planning on brewing it this Saturday and luckily I have one corny left from the last attempt for inspiration.

I've done this recipe before without the sugar, haven't tried it with sugar yet. My thinking was it would dry it out a bit more while boosting abv. Add a little more two row and nix sugar? Why would the rye and cane sugar be at odds?

Here's where I'm at so far
10 lbs two row
2 lbs rye
1 lb crystal 60
1 lb cane sugar
This puts me about 7.2 abv with the Sonoma ale yeast I plan to try this go round.
As far as hopping I'm planning on single hopping with cascade with a small bittering addition at 60 and large additions around 5 min and  flameout.
Any ideas, tweaks, or tricks appreciated.

General Homebrew Discussion / Re: How Long do You Dry Hop in a Keg?

I'm with Denny, dry hop in keg until it kicks. Usually use pantyhose and tie that to dip tube at the top so that it hangs a couple inches off the keg bottom to prevent clogs. Haven't had a problem yet.

Beautiful work, that said I'd be worried about someone breaking that aquarium glass after one too many.

I don't use any pumpkin in my recipe at all. Just the spices in "pumpkin spice". Libby's is what I used most recently. 10 gram at flame out/ whirlpool. 5 gram in my keg after fermentation. Going to try a vodka and spice mix in a jar then filter spice out of vodka next to eliminate the spice in the keg.
The fresher the spices the better the flavor/ aroma. Grind your own cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger. Add allspice. Never tried actually pumpkin in a recipe, but with this method it's pretty easy to turn any base beer into a "pumpkin beer".

I would print a lower receiver, thread that and use it for my "freedom ale" tap handle.

My only problem with the gasket on the outside of a weldless bulkhead was trying to get a jump on heating my strike water up by lighting burner while getting the hose ready to fill the keggle  With no water and a full tilt bayou burner the smell and smoke had me dropping the hose to kill the gas. Never did replace that little guy, looks a little crispy on the outside. Still no leaks.

Started almost two years ago with a lme pre hopped kit and a packet of "yeast". It ended up terribly as it had sat in a customers basement for over 5 years. This was not enough to stop me from many trips to the lhbs. Now running a 3 tier gravity capable of 15 gal batches. Still no beer I would call amazing, but some of them are getting pretty good.

If you think it might be a volcanic bomb get a plastic tote and put your carbon in that. Worst case you are cleaning plastic not carpet
