GOLD, Absolutely love it!

Quite an interesting debate, I'm enjoying all the banter  ;D

I've been thru most of the popular varities and back again but for me Magnum is my go-to hop for anything american (APA, Brown, IPA)

below is my "House IPA" every comp i enter it in it pulls a Gold and i usually brew it for special occasions the latest being my wedding, I was very suprised when it was the first keg to blow dry!


Dirty Celebration Ale (American IPA)

Original Gravity (OG): 1.060  (°P): 14.7
Colour (SRM):          8.7   (EBC): 17.1
Bitterness (IBU):      64.8   (Average)

75% Pale Ale Malt
15% Munich I
4% Carared
4% Wheat Malt
2% Caramunich III

1.2 g/L Nugget (8.5% Alpha) @ 60 Minutes (Boil)
1.0 g/L Amarillo (8.6% Alpha) @ 15 Minutes (Boil)
1.0 g/L Cascade (5.5% Alpha) @ 15 Minutes (Boil)
1.0 g/L Centennial (7.2% Alpha) @ 15 Minutes (Boil)
1.0 g/L Amarillo (8.6% Alpha) @ 5 Minutes (Boil)
1.0 g/L Cascade (5.5% Alpha) @ 5 Minutes (Boil)
1.0 g/L Centennial (7.2% Alpha) @ 5 Minutes (Boil)
