Commercial Beer Reviews / Re: Ommegang Three Philosopher's

This one was never one of my favorites.  Despite the blending, it seems to lack the complexity of a simpler Trappist dubbed.  I also don't think it ages very well... the year prominently displayed on the labeling seems to encourage vertical tastings that always disappoint.

The brewery is fun to visit, however.

Depends on what kind of job it is and your personality. I know a few people who have their own business. A bunch of them are far from rich and are really struggling to make as much as they did working for the man. Like anything else, it's a trade off.

I've had hop plants that were spreading out pretty far in my last yard, about 3 or 4 feet from the original rhizome. It was fine with me, I just put a bigger fence around them, but you could also just mow over what you don't want.

Ahh I remember the days in my youth when the power would go out for a week. We had a gas stove and a wood stove so all are our friends in the neighborhood would come over for dinner. The little store down the road would give away ice cream before it could melt. In my memory it happened at least once a winter.

Oh man this is why I bought a generator to hook up to the main electrical panel. Last February we lost power for two days. No heat. I do not want to do that again.

The patch does not smell good at all when it burns.

Fried wings with hot sauce = Buffalo Wings.

Oven baked wings marinated in hot sauce = Jersey Turnpike Wings.

I grew up in Buffalo. Wings are deep fried.

Another good alternative for the summer is grilled wings. Get them good and cooked, then dump in to a tub of melted butter and hot sauce. Shake to coat, then eat.

I say if you're happy with this job, why change?

A job that one enjoys is a very rare thing.

I am not defending $15 a four pack.
I would never buy it.
Just think about it.

The secret is to convince other people to buy it!

It's the Starbucks business plan. Charge $3.00 for a 50 cent cup of coffee!
