All Grain Brewing / 25-point gain in efficiency!

Happy New Year everybody!  I got a 15-lb barley crusher for Christmas from my wonderful wife.  I had wanted it because I have struggled with my effiiciency, I normally get 60% efficiency using grains crushed by my online supplier.  So I got 85% efficiency on my very first batch with it, awesome!  It turned my SNPA clone into SNIPA, I guess.  I am so stoked!  If anyone out there is debating whether a mill is worth the money, stop wondering and get one!

A couple weeks ago I made an Irish Red.  I was supposed to mash at 153 degrees, but I forgot to preheat my mash tun (sitting in my cold garage), and I got busy and didn't check the temperature while it mashed.  After an hour, I opened it and the mash was sitting at 141 degrees.  At that point, I didn't bother to see if it had converted, I just brewed it anyway. 

Can anyone predict how it might turn out?  I assume it will be very thin bodied, at least, but I wonder if it will even taste remotely alright.

Hi everyone, new to the forum.  So, is there any magic to using campden tablets?  I crushed one, tossed it in my water, and the remains didn't appear to have dissolved at all.  Do they need to be crushed to dust or given a lot of time to dissolve?
