General Homebrew Discussion / What's Brewing This Weekend - 8/6 Edition
« on: August 04, 2010, 02:22:33 PM »
What's brewing? Something? Anything?

I'm not sure if I'll be brewing this weekend, but it looks like I may be signing the biggest check of my life ever.

What's burbling? It feels good to have two things in the tanks. Feels a little odd that it's two Saisons in a row. :)

Maybe it's time to brew that Impy Stout.

With one Saison in the tank and suddenly appreciably cooler weather here in LA (thank you baby jebus) - what's a brewer to do?

I'm going to be teaching a brewing class, that's what and I'll be making a Scottish Saison. Ha!

Yup, the title says it all.

Keep the thread clean and serious my friends and neighbors... Besides, we already did the hooker thing in Oakland.

Captain's log - Stardate 11007.16 - Plans for the interstellar fermentation experiments have been compromised by Starfleet's Home Admiral countermanding the Captain's orders. Away team sent to reconnoiter and restore the free standing transportation and observation outpost to Home Office's standards and living protocols. Away team's current mission is to scout local professional fermentation establishments and may delay experimentation furthers. Captain out.

Looks like I'm brewing a starter Saison to build up reserves for a big Saison brew.

So what's the story, morning glories?

I've run out of beer that isn't wild/old/strong, so time to brew I guess.

Since I'm picking up some 300 lbs of grain this weekend, I guess I better!

I catch a plane tonight, so we'll get this kicked off..

What's brewing? For me, oh hell, for me, no brewing, but plenty of beer!

What's the status field saying?

For me, I'm super psyched - I'm brewing one of my recipes tomorrow at Eagle Rock Brewing
