Beer Recipes / Oatmilk Stout and Strawberry Mango -Update
« on: August 14, 2011, 01:46:21 AM »
I ended up adding fresh mangos into the Strawberry Infusion recipe.  The mix should be ready for tasting this weekend, so I let everybody how it comes out.  I also am going to start drawing up a recipe for an Oatmeal Milk Stout, or as I'm going to call it an Oatmilk Stout.  I've been working too much recently to get the podcast videos on as of yet, but I hope to still get a few video up before the end of the month.

Kegging and Bottling / Need to downsize my Kegerator. Any Ideas?
« on: August 11, 2011, 10:02:22 PM »
The girlfriend wants me to get a smaller keg setup, and some thing that is a little more aesthetic than a full sized fridge. I'd like to be able to run two cornie kegs at once, and maybe have some room for lagering.  Any ideas?

What steps would you have to take to form your own Homebrew Club?  I'm in central Ohio and I was just curious what kind of a process would go into forming your own Homebrewing Club.

I'm curious to get people opinions on the amount of extacts to use for a five gallon batch.  I have vanilla, star anise, and almond extracts that I've been using in my recent batches.  I'm always a little too paranoid to put to much in, so I will just get hints of the flavor. What a good amount to put it so the extract stands out on it's own, but doesn't over power the other flavors?

I just started a vodka infusion with strawberry, and posted some new updates on my blog.  I want to add some other flavors to the infusion, and was leaning toward watermelon, kiwi, or some extracts.  If you anyone has any input me know, feel free to comment here or on my blog.

I just started a brand new blog site for homebrewing, I'm also going to be using this site to podcast many of my projects. I expect to have my first pilot episode edited soon, and also have updated posts and information added a couple times a week. I'm new to doing this, so if you anybody has advice on setting blog pages up be sure t let me know.

Homebrewings Adventures With Nick Filipow
I first started brewing when I was about 19 years old, and I haven't looked back since. I'm starting this blog for the purpose of passing along some of knowledge and stories that I have attained through this trade. I hope you enjoy my blog, and I hope you will share some of your experiences with me.....

Does any have any blueprints for building a storage shelf for brewing equipment? I would like to make or buy something to make my equipment more organized.

Homebrew Clubs / Any brew clubs in Columbus OH?
« on: December 09, 2010, 01:40:46 AM »
I moved to C-bus and am no longer able to attend the homebrew club in Athens Ohio.  Just wondering if there any clubs in this area.

I don't have a specific favorite, but I was very inpressed with Sierra Nevada's Celebration.
