General Homebrew Discussion / Worst oversight you've ever done!

I had a big brew day yesterday, unfortunately I also had a very absent minded day...I started the day off by bottling a batch, very proud of my work I glanced around only to see my priming sugar sitting on the counter.  Swearing myself off while uncapping 48 bottles and recapping I decided that was my one and only big oversight, until later.  I also brewed a beautiful looking honey brown, moved it to the fermenter and patted myself on the back for a day well done.  As I'm brushing teeth four hours later and wondering why there was no airlock activity on my honey brown, I once again looked up at the counter to see my yeast in the smack pack sitting there....

I thought at least you guys would like a good laugh but it got me wondering what other simple oversights have been done by my fellow homebrewers?!

General Homebrew Discussion / Possible allergy?

I'm hoping somebody out here can help.  A good friend of mine loves a good home crafted beer, but regardless of homebrew/commercial, quality, etc he seems to get stomach aches after just a single beer.  I did a little research and it seemed like an allergy but I've never come across this...does anybody know why he get stomach aches or how to prevent it?  Thanks!

I've subscribed to Basic Brewing Radio but unfortunately have listened to all them.  I'm looking for other channels that are worth while.  I made the mistake of just subscribing to another so called homebrew channel and found it to be annoying, lacking any information, and generally just worthless.  So if you could what other good podcasts are out there?!

Other Fermentables / How fast can oxidation happen?

I've just made my first batch of mead and read about the hazards of oxidation with mead.  Since I don't have the CO2 to prevent oxidation I just went ahead and fermented and transferred to a secondary.  Now I'm concerned that I should have heeded the first how fast will mead oxidize and how can I tell if I ruined my first batch?
