Cost? I couldn't find it on their site

The 10x14 bar sheds w/porch start at $5k.

Thanks guys!

Was messing around with possible layouts for equipment and came up with this so far. Not sure if everything will fit like this in reality but it would be nice to keep all of the power and water on the same wall. Suggestions welcome!

Pimp My System / Just Ordered My New Brew Shed

After a few years of saving I finally did it! I ordered a shed to use as my Brew Shed. It won't be delivered for 3-4 weeks but I'm really excited and couldn't wait to post.

The shed is 10'x14' with a 3' covered porch but it has a few unique features. On the porch-side there is an 8' wide opening that has three removable sliding windows. When all three are removed, an 8'x2' wooden plank rotates up from inside and flips into place in the opening creating a finished bar top. How cool is that?!

To give you a better idea of what that looks like, here are some similar designs from the same manufacturer:

My shed will be a combination of the two following designs. Centered window, double doors on the side from the first and the covered porch from the second. You can also see the bar top in place.

I chose a color scheme that matches my home brewery logo and this image is similar to what those colors will look like. Slate Blue siding, White windows, doors and trim, and Black/Charcoal Grey shingles.

I plan to build a brew bench and a 4-tap keezer and include a fridge, a small utility sink, tv, stereo system, etc etc.

We plan to take this shed with us if we relocate, so I'm also going to install outside spigots and electrical so it can just be "unplugged" and moved.

I am going to document the install process so I promise I will have tons of picts once it happens. I plan on spending the winter finishing the inside so it will be 100% ready for next summer. Can't wait to brew in it and have friends over to hang out at the bar!

p.s. also making a firepit!

While I can absolutely understand the OP's argument, and somewhat agree with it, I also believe that telling entrants "If your beer is X points out of the style's range it will be penalized or disqualified" would just encourage people to be deceitful about it.

I've never felt the need to enter my beer in a competition so I really have no idea how the judges work this stuff out. Do they get out a hydrometer and check the gravity or just go by whatever the entrant puts on the entry form? Do they check the SRM against a color chart?

For a different low-cost solution you can also make one of these fermentation totes

Hey, I'm only 44. I just like good music.

same and same.

I get some of you guys have "Bud Lite" music pallets. ;)

i lol'd.

I dont have any siblings, but my best friend growing up, who lived across the street, had an older brother and we used to sit in his room and listen to all his favorite music so at an early age we were exposed to a lot of Janis Joplin, The Doors, Stones, The Who, Yes, Neil Young, Steve Miller, Hendrix, Jethro Tull, etc etc.

This really shaped my music preferences until MTV hit the scene in the early 80s.

Plus, everyone knows that Master of Puppets is the greatest cassette tape of all time.

I dunno man, Ride the Lightning gives it a good run for the money...

Obviously none of you have a vinyl copy of Gaucho.

I don't, but I do have every single Yes album on vinyl from 1969-1987 including all of Jon Anderson's solo albums and a few others, so I got that going for me… :)
