I really like the way you had them set it up. The only thing I would do different is barn doors. Not sure why, but I love me some barn doors.

I like barn doors too but it just didn't seem to fit with the design of the shed. They usually only put a single door on the front or centered on the side, but I had them put in 6ft double doors on the side so I knew I could move equipment in and out without a problem.

The only thing I don't like about the whole thing is the handle/lock on the door. I will eventually replace it with something more heavy duty and secure.

This is a crappy picture but here's what it looks like from the side:

Wow, fantastic! Did you build it from scratch or ordered a skeleton somewhere? I was thinking about something similar for my backyard was just wondering if I should order ready thing or order someone to build it ;)

I ordered it turnkey from http://oaktreesheds.com. Best decision ever.

Looking good. Will you finish the inside?

Steve, yeah. I need to run electric, plumbing, insulation, then I'll probably put up moisture-resistant wallboard and paint.

Still so much work to do...

Took picts of the completed foundation areas. When the delivery guy dumped the stone he wasn't close enough to the 4x4s and spilled a lot of material on the grass, we still have some cleanup to do but didn't want to shovel any grass/seed into the foundations.

I def got lucky, my wife loves brewing with me and she already started buying me beer- and brewing-related signs and stuff for the brew shed.

The pit looks great. Those wall bricks are prefect an allow great airflow.

Is that the dish of an old pit used as a cover?

Steve, that's exactly why I placed them like that, I never built a fire pit before but I figured the gaps would not only let extra air into the bottom of the fire but also allow heat and a nice warm glow to come thru.

And yup!, the copper bowl is from a small portable fire pit that has a cast iron base. At the moment we are using it as a cover.

10 tons of Crushed Blue Stone has been delivered and my wife and I spent the last few days shoveling and raking. We completed the Fire Pit area first since it was the smallest of the three locations and figured you guys might like to see it. I forgot to take picts of the finished Brew Shed and Tool Shed areas, I'll do that tomorrow. The sheds get delivered Friday the 19th.

You'll probably spend more evenings outside. Good for the soul to be drinking homebrew under the stars.

Totally, that's exactly why we are also building the fire pit. I'm using the same foundation design as the shed, a 12' square made of 4x4s filled with 3/4 crushed blue stone. I'm going to dig a hole in the center so the first course of patio blocks is even with the ground for a solid base, then 4 more courses. It should be big enough for us to put a cast iron grill on top of it and use it to cook also if need be.

Tony, how cool would that be near your brew shed? Couldn't bring it with you like the shed though. Although I have seen them made on trailers to bring to events.

It would be amazing, I'm adding it to the wish list!

In other news, I bought all the lumber and patio blocks to build the shed foundations and fire pit area.

Wait!  You have a pizza oven?
Yes. We built one in our yard a few years ago using a big hunk of clay our friend found in some fill he got. Here's a slideshow of the build: http://www.slideboom.com/presentations/218324/Building-a-wood-fired-earth-oven

Pete that is very cool!
