If somebody develops a Linux application, I'd get one. Even better would be if it can be integrated with brewpi.

You mean like this?

I did the same thing with a RPi3 and a RPi2 with a bluetooth dongle.

I made a LAMP server, and store the results in a MySQL database and have a webpage to display the results.

I've been playing with my own version here, but it's strictly DIY.

Equipment and Software / TeensyNet Networked 1-wire controller

I've developed the TeensyNet networked 1-wire controller.

The TeensyNet can monitor / control up to 36 1-wire devices, including igital thermometers, switches, thermocouples, etc. Multiple TeensyNets can be connected to your local intranet and monitored / controlled by a web interface.

The hardware and software is entirely open source, so you can modify the TeensyNet system to suit your specific needs.

You can find more information at my website

Sounds intriguing. Got pics? I definitely be interested in this if the price was right. And being an electronics simpleton I'd need VERY specific instructions if it was a DIY project.

Added K-Type thermocoupler monitoring, and now have pre-made boards available.

Can be wired or wireless

Added a few new wrinkles:

I now have local or remote data logging and graphing.

I'm just about ready to post info on up to eight local LCD screens.

I've knocked together a Networked Temperature Controller using a Raspberry Pi, a Teensy 3.0 board, an Adafruit Pi Plate, and 1-wire devices that can be used to remotely monitor and control multiple devices. I plan on using this to monitor and control my beer storage coolers, fermentation chambers, and brewstand, but it could also be used for other uses such as brooder temperature control for avian breeders, sous vide, etc. You can see the complete write up at my TeensyPi website. Comments are welcome.

I've been working on a networked temperature monitor using the Arduino and DS18B20 sensors. I created the probes using standard telephone cord. You can see it here:
