Yes. I use gelatin the same way I have used it for years. Weird.

It finally cleared. Took only 30 days after my addition of gelatin.

I used it last year and didn't like it. I found it kind of cloying. I used it @ 60, 30 and 0 min. No dry hopping though.

I used the " yellow balanced " profile from Bru'n Water. My Blonde ales fermented with US-05 and Nottingham cleared fine with the addition of gelatin. I am thinking on searching for another lager yeast with a " high flocculation ".

This is my 6th brew using 100% RO water along with Bru'n Water. They all have been good beers and clear very well even without gelatin except my lager. Today is day 8 with gelatin and it is still very hazy. I can't figure it out. My ESB cleared almost bright without any gelatin at all. Is it the yeast? ( WLP833 ) or the recipe? Canadian 2 row, along with 8% munich 6. No pic, but it looks like pea soup.

My wife swears by my brewing. Actually, she swears at it.

I am new to Bru'n Water. I have only 5 brews so far with RO/water salts. So far so good. I have been using " yellow balanced " with blonde ales and one Pilsner. Seems fine to me. What will the difference be using pseudo boh pils vs yellow balanced as in the taste of my beer?

I am on well water with a water softener. You can bypass it but mine is so old I am afraid to turn the valve to bypass anymore. I went with RO water and Bru'n Water and have noticed a huge improvement to my beers.

I have heard at least 12 times. I have never gone that far yet since I constantly brew different styles of beer.

Since I live in Canada, yea, getting fresh yeast is hard to do. I don't mind a month or 2 but 114 days? Should of got a discount. It would be nice to make Wyeast in Canada.

Since I live around 2 hours from Toronto and have no lhbs, this is the downside of online ordering. Yes, they have everything I want, but there is a downside of fresh yeast. I just received my yeast ( Wyeast 1335 II ) from one of my frequent homebrew shops that I order from. Manufactured Jan 15 - 2017. That makes it 114 days old. 100 billion cells? Yea, far from it.

39 F here in Canada. I had to turn on a wall heater because it was too cold. I ferment in my basement and it was 59 F. It's May isn't it?
