Blonde Ale, ESB and an AIPA. No lagers until 2018.

Did you check the current gravity?

I tried once or twice with my wine filter and all I got was foam. I lost more beer that I thought I should, so I quit doing it. Gelatin for me works in a few days and the results are the same.

I just bought 5 lbs. of Chinook ( 12.3% AA ) here in Canada for $59.00. Yes, lots of grapefruit and some pine. Great for dry hopping.

I had beer stone on my Blichmann conical a few years ago. PBW removed some, but not all. I used BKF with a white scrubbie and it did take it off, but it took awhile. I had to scrub a lot and was nervous about ruining my conical. It seems to be okay now and I keep an eye on it rather than just give it a quick wipe, rinse and walk away like I did a few years ago.

Yes. I use gelatin the same way I have used it for years. Weird.

It finally cleared. Took only 30 days after my addition of gelatin.

I used it last year and didn't like it. I found it kind of cloying. I used it @ 60, 30 and 0 min. No dry hopping though.

I used the " yellow balanced " profile from Bru'n Water. My Blonde ales fermented with US-05 and Nottingham cleared fine with the addition of gelatin. I am thinking on searching for another lager yeast with a " high flocculation ".

This is my 6th brew using 100% RO water along with Bru'n Water. They all have been good beers and clear very well even without gelatin except my lager. Today is day 8 with gelatin and it is still very hazy. I can't figure it out. My ESB cleared almost bright without any gelatin at all. Is it the yeast? ( WLP833 ) or the recipe? Canadian 2 row, along with 8% munich 6. No pic, but it looks like pea soup.

My wife swears by my brewing. Actually, she swears at it.

I am new to Bru'n Water. I have only 5 brews so far with RO/water salts. So far so good. I have been using " yellow balanced " with blonde ales and one Pilsner. Seems fine to me. What will the difference be using pseudo boh pils vs yellow balanced as in the taste of my beer?

I am on well water with a water softener. You can bypass it but mine is so old I am afraid to turn the valve to bypass anymore. I went with RO water and Bru'n Water and have noticed a huge improvement to my beers.

I have heard at least 12 times. I have never gone that far yet since I constantly brew different styles of beer.
