We like turtles!

well I have a lot of them! Had to move 3 terrapins out of the way of my weed eater just this morning, but that was the first box turtle I had seen in a couple years.

Work and gardening... no brewing for a couple more weeks.

...although I did brew a Kolsch last weekend and had a visitor crawl up to me in the middle of the boil.

a balmy and warm 75 at near 10pm. I'll take it... it could be worse either way

In the summer/fall of 2004, in Central Florida we had four hurricanes in six weeks.  After the second one blew through I went outside and yelled, "Enough already!  Stop it!"

Two more blew through after that.  Shows you how important I am.

Lesson learned - you just gotta take it. (or move to Hawaii).

Unfortunately Hawaii is not immune to the occasional hurricane either. It’s just a less likely to occur there.  Just a couple of months after the country watched Andrew roll through FL and LA, HI caught a cat four with winds of 125 kts/145 mph.

Looks almost exactly like the Flying Saucer in Nashville. Actually, it looks exactly like it assuming the taps would be in the same order.

Look like the saucers in Houston and Little Rock too.

Had a high of 72 yesterday and managed to plant two 30 feet rows of potatoes yesterday afternoon. Hope they dont wash away by Sat!

A Pale.    Had a job transfer from South Florida to Southwest Louisiana back in October so I havent brewed since September and I may be a bit rusty. Me, the wife, and kiddo just moved into our new place about a week ago after a long stay in temp quarters. I WILL manage to sqeeze in a brew day on Monday during my 3 day weekend between prepping a garden area and hop yard.

nothing :(        haven't brewed in a month or two. Moved from South Florida to SW Louisiana and all my stuff is in storage and is pretty much unaccesible until i find a new home. Luckily I had brewed a few times close together to have enough stock to last me and the wife to near the end of the year. May check in on the local club since they are doing a group brew on Saturday.

Pace yourself, it's not a race.   And +1 to just trying the ones you can't get at your locale.
