Sorry to hear about your loss. Maybe adding pic's of the equipment will help people identify and possibly price your brothers equipment.

I would not be drinking an IPA tonight if it wasn't NIPAD. But since it is I will be. But unfortunately since I get off work after midnight, I will be a bit late.

Up town girl - Billy Joel.

Tried the beer today, it does have some weird after taste. But hop flavor came through. In the past month I got a mini fridge from a garage sale, and started converting it to a temp control unit.

My next batch will be the same exact recipe, but with better control of temp. I am excited about trying this recipe with clean flavors.

Thanks guys, I'll let him know what you think. Also since he started drinking bud light about ten years ago, I don't see why he is still concerned.

Not the change he is looking for. It would be closer to 1975 or 1980. But thank you anyways.

I wonder about the first person who decided that beaver anal gland secretions tasted more like raspberries than raspberries do.

I imagine it was a lot like me and my friends camping. Gutting a fish and daring each other to eat random organs. Then some one says "Wow a fish heart tastes like blueberries." So in short a drunk person discovered what beaver glands taste like.

My dad asked me to see if anyone remembers the change, and if they know why it changed.

He told me that long before I was drinking beer, or alive. Budweiser had a very distinct flavor, that set it apart from other beers. At some point they changed the formula and it lost it's individuality.

Does anyone know what happened.

I just thought of this! Does anyone have a recipe that would mimic or clone that old Bud. That would be a batch he would love to help me brew.

I luv me some beaver anus bitter.

I need to put my beer down, get a towel, and clean the spit beer off my screen!

It can be used to make raspberry and strawberry flavors in candy and soft drinks. So I really do love the stuff, any one is welcome to my lemon and orange Star-bursts, but leave me the beaver anus flavored ones.

four or five. I brewed a really good chocolate porter/stout. Want to enter it into the Washington state fair, but I need to figure out what style it really is. If only I knew someone whose girlfriends uncle has been brewing for years... Oh wait, I just found out my girlfriends uncle has been brewing for years. Kaplah!

Not brewing this weekend, but all my friends and family are on vacation, so it will be my first time bottling solo. I'm confident I can do it without any problems.

Very cool, and organized. You could leave those out even when not brewing, looks like a rustic science kit.

Random question. If you can't use religion or religious themes to sell beer. How is it ok to name your brewery after Ninkasi the Sumerian goddess of fermentation.
