The Myrcenary is wicked dangerous.  Yum.

Anybody know what hops are used in the regular IPA?

:o Man, I am amazed at your ability to hide beer!

Although, having some of that on hand seems appropriate
given the weather this "spring"  ::)

How does it age?

"Let's break on throught ot the other side"  ;)

I am with you brother, although I just recently learned of my danger.

Perhaps my recent search for some Hood hops for the weekend session are in vain?

Guess that pile of Denny's favorite might go to waste?

Imma gonna celebrate tonight just in case.

Anybody seen this "deconstructed"?
I picked up a special release 12 pack and they have single hopped versions of all 5 hops used in the original.

Zeus, Simcoe, Haller Mittle, Goldings, and Antanum.  It is a pretty cool deal, especially if you like IPA.

I think my favorite was the Zeus.

Check it out.

I'm Easternized. Think I'm gonnahave to lay down some rules.

I understand western hospitality, but know that rules of politeness and social etiquette should exist everywhere.
Being rude and kicking someones keg while they are not even home is totally uncalled for in my book.
Dude number three is a punk.

I am thinking that folks are just taking advantage of your good nature and generosity.

Cheers to this blend, and the tribute. I really like it and have my second batch on deck.

Personally, I think the idea of Hop Union blending proprietary hops into a single pellet is pure genius,
and hope they continue with the offering or something similar. 8)

Denny, nice hop combo.

Yea, I am loving the fact that Denny is using '07 Columbus :o

Well the hydro sample tasted a little funky, I am really hoping I did not ruin my Brown with that Special Roast.
Time will tell I guess, but is 8 ounces of special roast over the top?

Thanks very much for the thoughts and suggestions.

Guess I am going with
Mt Hood FWH, Amarillo @ 15, Amarillo and Citra @5 and perhaps a gob of Chinook at FO.
Trying to keep the chocolate to 4%.  I love me some hoppy porter :-[
Will try some special roast for the first time.

Rockin it all on a cake of Dennys favorite.

Cheers to the American Brown. 8)

I don't mind citrus.  Might be good.

JZ uses Horizon and Amarillo.  I have never used Horizon, does it have any character as a bittering hop?

How about you Denny, I see that Noti has a Galena addition mid way.  Is that pretty important?  Sorry if that is a rude question, sort of like asking a cook if an ingredient is really needed.....I just don't have any Galena around.

Paid $4.03/gallon for diesel today.
$100 bucks to fill er up.

Drove 150 miles up the road into ONG Land
(Oil and Gas Land)
where trucks buzz around like flies and the rate there was $ 4.43/gallon. :-\

I am impressed by the prices in Europe.  'Mericans sure are spoiled it seems,
and complain a lot. :'(

Gawd dang I love my truck.

Looking for some recommendations of your favorite combos.
I confess I may be leaning toward the hoppiest side of the style.

Those of you that know the American Brown,
what is your interpretation?

Thanks in advance. 8)

:D, shucks.  All the good names are taken.

What?  Blue Mountain Brewery.....The brewers name is Smack...they use Cascade in the Full Nelson....

Oh....Nelson County, Virginia.    ::)

Looks like a really cool brewery.  I like the hop farm and brewery combo!
