Hard not to route for the Broncos. I heard that if they make it to the super bowl that madonna is going to have tebow delivered on a silver platter and she is going to personally deflower his virginity right there on the half time show!

EWWWW!

Didn't we already agree that Madonna is hawt?  :-\

Saw this map linked in an article about Snowy Owl sightings here in Michigan.

If you zoom back, you can see the sighting in Hawaii, and click for more information.

Silly Hedwig, wouldn't get off the runway.

Out in the shop.  I did not vote garage because I have to go outside to get there.

I can haul arse across the cold and snow to get there though,
and there is a wood stove out there if I get stranded. :D

Denver used to be one of my favorite matchups with the Patriots...not so much anymore.

Not so much...still?  Seems I remember the last time we had Brady in town.
Although watching him throw a temper tantrum on the sidelines makes me very afraid that he is going to be wicked prepared this week. :'(
At least he has to come to Denver.

How about a 59 yrd field goal to tie?  Pretty nice, but yea, everyone around here needs to put poor Marion on their Christmas list.

I hear them a lot more often than I see them, and I always hear them a lot this time of year.  They're Great Horned Owls by the sound of it, although they could be different owls with similar calls.

Whoos awake...Me Toooo :)  owls start to breed early.

Not that I am doubting that a snowy owl would be found in Hawaii.  My son is a wizard.  Certainly the owl was delivering mail.

Isn't it like 2000 miles out there?  It must have been a wizard messenger owl.

Interesting that your endemic and endangered owl is viewed as a good omen to the natives.

I caught this little guy in a mist net once.  Pygmy owl.

I've got several friends of Native American Indian origin who are seriously freaked out by them; there's some real significance in folklore and tradition.

Especially a white one!  :o

Isn't there a white owl in Harry Potter?  Seriously sinister.

:D, I kind of thought that might be the answer.  Besides, cara-hell just sounds way better.  Prost.

for the coolest owl we have.

They are headed south in mass numbers

Apparently, Hawaii just got its first record of a snowy owl, showed up at the airport in the capital.
What a problem bird, couldn't catch it, it wouldn't leave, so they blasted it.  Yep, shot it dead. ::)

If arctic owls can get to Hawaii, they could get to your house.  Be on the look out if you like this sort of thing. 8)

Sweet, thanks Sean.

What is the difference between carahell and some generic crystal 10?

Maibock's a style that seems to have wormed its way into my annual rotation the past few years.

I would love to see your latest rendition if you wanted to post or pm.  The Maibock is a perfect style for Silver town.  I would expect around 7%?

Glissade is being replaced by Ruthless Rye IPA.

Wow, they're really pushing the envelope there. ::)

Um yea, I guess they are going with something that will sell to the masses?  Thanks Denny. ;)

pinnah - mt hood works very well - I would not hesitate.

Would you go with the Perle to bitter?  or go with your magnum?

bet you're lamenting the disappearance of Glissade?
True that.

I know some folks did not like it and thought the name was ghey. ::)
Not me, I thought it was a perfect name for that time of year.  Green valleys, and lots of spring snow still up high.

I love a good standing glissade on some warmed up spring corn 8).

Do you know what SN is replacing it with?

Cheers.
