Throw in a campden tablet. They're really cheap; like under a nickel each.

Careful, don't be bashing Julia.

I really enjoy watching Julia's older cooking shows, when she was actually cooking.

I crush a full tablet in the 15 gallons I use for mashing and sparging. It has never caused a problem for me. It's cheap insurance at about $.035 each.

I always taste my grain before I crush it. I look for crunchy.

I've never seen the advantage to conicals. Hard to move and very expensive.

I'm not vain enough to use my real image. I'd pick somebody good looking.

I'm a new member, but do you have to be at a certain level to view some threads because I can't find this "sorry" thread?

Consistent mash temperature = stir like hell.

Brew the beer, chill it and put it in a fermenter. Sell it, to whoever, with a pack of yeast. It's up to them ( with your help at their house, if needed) from then on. You've done nothing but sell an nonalcoholic malt beverage. I don't think that's illegal anywhere.

I just joined the forum, so I know nothing about TT. Not even sure how to get there. However, there's a lot of knowledge here, and the pub seems fun as well, just not a lot of participation right now.

Just wanted to say hi. Been brewing, AG, for several years and watching this and other sites for a while. Probably won't be posting a lot, because you guys seem to be doing okay without my advice.  I like good beer. If it meets a particular style, then tell me so I can brag about it, otherwise just drink it and enjoy.
