Just found this place doing a Google search for "Zweimaisch Verfahren".  I ended up here and never found out what it was! lol

Hey all...good looking forum here at the AHA website.  I have rewed for over three years now (9 extract, 3 partial mashes and now...hmmm like 45 all grain batches).  I am a regular also over at Beer Advocate, although I try and avoid the BS threads.  I left Tasty Brew a while back and didn't like HB talk.  So from peeking in and out of here a bit, this looks like a nice little second (or first) home to continue to improve my hobby, and maybe even give out some new ideas.

Peach/Raspberry Ale 4.5%/18IBU (6/6/10)
Golden Promise IPA (Keg #2) - 5.8%/73IBU (7/3/10)
Jason's Ball & Chain - 6.4%/63IBU (7/17/10)
All His Merry Men - 4.9%/23IBU (8/1/10)
Citra Amber Ale - 4.8%/23IBU (8/1/10)

I just noticed this thread, so I thought I'd introduce myself:

I've been brewing since 2005, having started with a Mr Beer.  I use lots of different methods, now--partial mash, extract with grain, all grain--depending on the type of brew, but always have fun.  I'm not much into technology (which is good cuz I'm poor) but very interested in methodology.  I like brewing great beer with very basic equipment.

My favorite styles are pale ale, IPA, hoppy red ales, hefeweizen, and bitters.

During the day I'm a speech-language pathologist.

I might have a little good advice hidden around her somewhere, but I certainly have a ton to learn...always a beginner!
