I use picnic taps in the fridge in the basement. When we have company (and I have nothing actively fermenting) I'll put a collar with taps on my fermenteezer in the garage and use that instead (if the fermenter is in use, I'll just fill up a few growlers and keep them in the kitchen fridge).

In the mud room temporarily, with the utility sink as my drip tray, until I get the basement bar done.

It's in the basement in what used to be the laundry/utility room before we added on the addition.  Our family room is in the basement too so it is close to where people actually hang out.

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

Beer fridge is in the family room so, since it wasn't a choice, I said living room cuz it's where we do most of our living.

Me too except I was making room for the fermenteezer in the kitchen. I say 80" from where I sit is pretty good. Could have it right next to me but there has to be limits. ;D

Clicked "other."

Started in the garage.  We had a party and my wife noticed that all the men were hanging out in the garage.  For our next party, we moved the kegerator inside and put it in the laundry room.  I never moved it back to the garage.  I think I told her it was really heavy (it had wheels on it).  This return trip was forgotten for long enough that it became part of the laundry room.  There it stayed for nearly 6 years.

Two years ago, my wife bought a new washer and dryer of the front loading variety.  Uh oh.  The doors wouldn't open because the kegerator was in the way.  But another problem presented itself.  They were too tall for the cabinets that were above the old washer and dryer.  I shrug and suggest she call the cabinet guy and add "and tell him I want to talk to him about putting a long built-in buffet in the dining room that juts out a little bit near the wall so I can put a kegerator under there.

She didn't seem too dismissive of  this idea.

The cabinet guy raised the old cabinets over the washer and dryer for free.

I've consumed all of my home brew and still can't relax!  Now what!
