I just picked up four of these. Great price! These bins are what Midwest Supplies uses in its grain room.http://www.fleetfarm.com/catalog/product_detail/housewares/household-goods/storage-containers/suncast-storage-trends-stacking-bin
I use the Rubbermaid type containers. Inside of them, I keep the grain in plastic bags with as much air as possible squeezed out and twistie-tied.
Keep it cool and dry and away from vermin. No need for it to be airtight unless you're planning on storing grain for years, IMHO.

I figured if my ale pail is air tight these buckets would be too. Though I should look into those home depot ones if they have rubber gaskets.
I use plain buckets with Gamma Seal lids.http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=24282&catid=686cheers----Michael

Those Gamma vittles vaults look pretty nice but a bit spendy too. I use Gamma lids (looks exactly like what is on that vault) but is snaps on top of a regular 5-7 gallon bucket. Perfect air-tight storage for $8 plus the cost of your bucket.
