There's plenty of time during the boil to bang her!

Man, you guys are funny...so encouraging!
I'd also vote for skipping brewing and seeing the gf.  But at this point in your life, extract brewing never looked so appealing.

Here is what I would attempt:

Today: pickup all the stuff you need for brewing (Hank Hill voice: popane, propane accessories...).

Tonight after your kids are in bed: test your burners, start your yeast and clean any equipment that needs it so that you will be ready to go first thing the next morning.

Saturday Morning: Dough-in your grains and then run off to see your lady.

Saturday Afternoon: Finish the rest of the brewing (sparge, boil, cool, pitch yeast).

Sex, beer and rock-n-roll...in that order.  ;D

But seriously...I would make the time to brew at some other time that will allow you to focus on brewing beer. Tweek your equipment now to be ready when you decide to brew. Having a fire drill on brewday is not a good idea.

Should make for an interesting "What's Brewing This Weekend" post...

You guys suck at talking me into brewing.  :D

Ok, what's the girlfriend look like?  You go ahead and brew and I'll take care of the GF

Hmmm new girlfriend won't understand the difference extract and all grain? Doesn't sound like a keeper to me. :-\

Hell if I'd just gone through a messy deevorce then a GF that doesn't like/understand my brewing would be on the curb toot sweet.

Agreed.  I'd think she'd have to understand that you have interests.  Many people I meet these days don't have any and it saddens me.

I'm not doing an extract batch over there, because then she won't understand why I have to spend the extra time and effort for all-grain when I finally am able to do it again.

Hehehe, you've struck a fundamental difference between wives and girlfriends.  A wife would see/appreciate the difference in ingredients cost!

I've been trying to convince myself to brew for weeks...probably months now.  Going to try to finally do a batch tomorrow...

If you really want to brew and see the girlfriend then you could follow my schedule during my coaching seasons.

1) Get propane on way home from work
2) Put kids to bed.at normal time
3) prep equipment
4) get whatever sleep you can before 3AM
5) Start brew day at 3AM
6) Rack beer into fermentor around 6:30 - 7:00
7) Feed kids breakfast

Enjoy the rest of your, about to be very long, day.  Sleep is way over rated.

He's never brewed a batch while he was dating her - if she's never brewed herself and never dated a brewer, why would she know the difference between extract and AG?

There's a difference between "doesn't understand [the process of] my brewing" and "doesn't understand [why she should be at all interested or why I am interested in] my brewing".  I took it to mean she might not understand why he thinks all-grain is worth the extra effort, which he'd need to explain.

If she doesn't like him brewing then yeah, she can go find someone else.

To be honest, you can probably pull this off, in an evening.
I had my shortest brew session ever, a few weeks back.
I believe I put my son to bed at shortly after 7:30...Mashed in, first...Read him a story...Done with clean-up, before midnight.
