Sliders and beer, whoppers and beer, beer makes everything better.

This is a good idea even though I've never tasted a White Castle slider. Alcohol sales should be 24 hours IMO. And sold everywhere.

I don't think White Castle will sell you sliders if you're sober, or at least they shouldn't, so beer fits perfectly on their menu.

I think anyone eating at White Castle is probably drunk enough already.

At NHC in Minneapolis (IIRC) one of the booths was serving White Castle burgers.  I had a hard time only eating a couple.  Forbidden fruit, I guess...

They were still warm, too.  That was a nice treat.

The cooking method is key, it steams the bun and soaks up every bit of grease.  Plus its just fun to order a six pack.

Last time I was there I ordered double burgers, don't do that.  There is no perceived benefit to doubling a number that is approaching zero.

I've never eaten them fresh from a WC, but I've had them like this (warmed of course) out of shear curiosity.

I had some years ago, but quite honestly don't see the reason that people just love them. It's a dinner roll with a little meat and some chopped onions. Nothing to go out of the way for, in my opinion. I'd order a $1 double cheese burger from McDonald's before I would any of these. I don't even think a beer, and definitely not a glass of wine, would help much.

As a connoisseur of sliders, I must come to the defense White Castles.
Their sliders are excellant. Recent years have seen other restaurants attempt to replicate the slider without compare.
Their fries,
Their coffee (some of the finest in the land).

And where else can you see all walks of life including the rich coming together in the middle of the night.

And now serving beer. It is like dying and going to heaven.
