I love my veggies, can't get enough, enjoy all of them.  Learn how to prepare properly, don't douse in a bunch of unhealthy sauce, just lightly season.

Green veggies are good for you, control your starches.

I'll debate that one.  If I don't eat meat my skin starts to crack and bleed in a few days, then after a week my immune system completely fails.  If I eat any appreciable amount of leafy green vegetable matter I have severe digestive problems (once this lead to my body slowly poisoning itself over a week and a half).

Salads are not a daily thing for me.

Fruits contain carbs.

You'll have to pry my papaya from my cold, dead hands!

My EVERY day starts with a least one just picked papaya drizzled with just picked lime juice.  That is chased with a liter of homegrown/roasted coffee sweetened with Maui turbinato sugar.

What's the point of living in paradise of you don't eat from the Garden of Eden?

Home grown coffee.  o.o

I wish I could grow my own tea but it is intensive and hard to get right.

Carl you should use your honey instead of sugar- unless you don't like that combination.

Don't like honey (or cream) in my coffee.  Turbinato sugar in coffee is way delicious... hints of molasses...  :)

Tea grows well here, but at higher elevations than where I live.  Several friends have tea bush hedges.  Fairly easy on a hobby scale.  More difficult on a commercial scale.  Harvesting the new growrh is the challenge.  Easy by hand, a challenge mechanically.  The secret is cloning the tea bushes so they grow uniformly.

Both coffee and tea flowers smell wonderful.  Simular to citrus blossoms.

I do put honey in my tea.

The reason I asked cause to me honey changes the texture of coffee. I like sugar in the raw for my coffee but plain ol cane sugar is what I usually take.

I have Gunter's Clove, Golden, and Orange Blossom honey.  Golden is so horrid in tea, the flavor and sweetness punches through before it's sweet enough; Orange Blossom is excellent, and even a little changes the flavor to something pleasant--eases the tannic bitterness without needing to oversweeten the tea.

Strange, huh?

Raw okra is great

split lengthwise sprayed with olive oil sprinkled with cajun blend spices and oven broiled until edges char...mmmmm
boiled, fried, not so great (small amounts in gumbo tolerable)

Raw okra is great

Is that a reality series on the new Okra Windbag Network?
