Ahh, yes, I should clarify that... I don't work for the FBI, but I do some work on efforts that have sent bad guys to the FBI for investigation.

Some days it feels like it (as the first X-Files movie is playing on Cinemax.)

It was an interesting read since I used to work in the Auto Industry and had to sometimes get cars ready for the Press.  Glad to see they are doing some stuff we can all enjoy, like make crazy beer runs.  Hope you had a great time here in MI, and several have said let us know next time.

Drew, just so you know, many of the folks from Michigan were getting tired of the hop bombs in SD.  We were asking where could we get a balanced beer (I knew enough to look for Firestone Walker, but they are not from SD County).  Don't get me wrong, loved the beer, and it was a great time but we were getting burned out.

Fun article - sounds like a pretty sweet trip.  Where in MN did you get your speeding ticket?  Maybe you were gone by that point.  I'd like to know what the officer said when he pulled over "the black Nazgul" loaded down with that much beer.

That was actually directly after I left. Jonny turned the Vader mobile away from the airport. He got it in the MSP area while we were sitting at the gate.

Somehow Jonny kept from getting thrown in jail

That must have been an awesome trip - you made the right decision when you chose to skip past the South Dakota/Wyoming portion of the tour!

I would have liked more detail on the New Glarus tour - it was likened to something out of Willy Wonka.  What was so cool about it?  Also, I haven't had a problem getting the New Glarus Belgian Red in WI.  Did you guys pick up the Raspberry version too?  Did you have to buy all those brews yourself, or did Motortrend pick up the tab?

I have to admit that I skipped past all the car stuff and only read the beer parts.  I'm jealous!

Getting New Glarus in WI is generally easy.  Getting it outside of WI, not so much...  For me, this generally involves hitting the Woodman's at the Highway 50 exit in Kenosha right before heading into Chicagoland.    :D
