Does anyone know if you can buy replacements for the washer that comes with the Coleman cooler-specifically the 70qt extreme?

Did the conversion process not go well?

Looking at the Coleman website it looks like you can buy a replacement drain assembly for a variety of coolers here:

http://www.coleman.com/coleman/parts/Productimage2.asp?product_id=drain

The model number for the 70 qt coleman xtreme starts with 6270 which is one of the lines that the Product # R5214D607G drain assembly says it fits.

I haven't ordered from the site and I don't know for sure that this is what you're looking for but it sounds promising.

Actually-not yet done; however, the paranoid side of me starting thinking (after reading all of the websites on conversion how important it is to keep the original washer) that it may be a good idea to have a spare.

Thanks for your help.  I'll post a shot when it's done.

Ah okay.  I'd have to agree that with that cooler it would have been a lot tougher to convert without using the washer.  Once it's done though probably no need to have a spare laying around.  Can't hurt either though I guess.  Good luck with the project.
