Portable Steel Oak Barrel Rack

Thought I'd share this rolling barrel rack project.  The barrel on top is 10 gallons.  The bottom rack has a 30 gallon barrel.

If you don't get in over your head, how are you ever going to know how tall you are.

Very nice...what are you planning to fill them with, or are they filled now?

The 30 gallon is filled with a Oud Bruin using Wyeast Roseselare as the funk, and the 10 gallon is filled with a Belgian Triple soured using White Labs Belgian Sour Mix WLP655.  Both barrels are used as soleras.

The idea of building a rolling solera stand came from 1vertical's post http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/forum/index.php?topic=1834.0.

Looks great. I need to build a rack for the barrel I have. It's currently sitting on a work bench with 2x4's keeping it from moving.

What type of beer do you have in your barrel?

Just pulled an English Barleywine out of it. It's a 5 gallon rum barrel. A Baltic Porter is going in there next. After that, depending how much wood character is left, it's going sour.
