Looking at trying a clone that says it uses Styrian Goldings but I have EKG.

Styrian Goldings are fuggle-derived.  I would sub it anyway and see if you like the result.

Louis and Pamela both have huge tracts of land.

I like the Styrian goldings but you're going to get a different result than using the EKG.  As Tom said the Styrian is a fuggle derivative and is going to have more of those earthy flavors.  The EKG falls into the lighter, floral category.  If you're trying for a clone that calls for EKG then the Styrian probably isn't going to get you there.  It may taste great but it won't be the same.

Styrian Goldings is Fuggles grown in Slovenia.  Earthy, herbal and slightly spicy to me.  I like this one.  It is used in English beers, one example being Timothy Taylor Landlord.

Edit - EKG is more floral to me.

Yep.  Or Willamette...all are pretty similar.

+1 I find Fuggles a little more intense (more "woodiness"), IMO. But Fuggles or Willamette are both work as replacements.

And, just to add the discussion, I recently brewed a SMaSH with Styrian Goldings and was surprised by how incredibly floral the sample I took tasted.. I'll be able to say more once I've bottled, but I was expecting it to be more earthy with a slight citrus taste than floral.
