mr blue sky

I've always kind of viewed this song as a NW anthem, but this version is especially great to me . . . so many different parts for one person to keep straight, I love this kind of thing.

Thanks for that. Great way to start the day.
In a humble log cabin off an unregarded back road, somewhere, deep in the heart of Pennsylvania’s hill country, we find our intrepid hero — the Brush Valley Brewer.

"Hey you with the pretty face/Welcome to the Human Race" always gets me a bit, reminds me of the day my son was born :-)

My 12-year-old son got a new iPod for Christmas.  He asked me to load some of my favorite music on it for him.  I loaded (among others) ELO's Greatest Hits.  A few days ago, when I was driving him to school, he burst into Mr. Blue Sky.  We've been singing it together a lot lately.

We just watched the video three times in a row.  He loves it.  We love it!  Thanks Tom.

I also loaded The Traveling Wilburys.  I've got a Jeff Lynne fan on my hands.   ;D

This was playing in the delivery room when my son was born.  I loved the song before that, now I get chicken skin (Hawaiian kine goose bumps) every time I hear it. I know it wasn't a coincidence that it was playing as he came into the world.

I keep watching it periodically :)  My kids love it too, the feet are a favorite part.

Glad you guys are enjoying it.
