Don't forget that the weekend BEFORE the conference is the Washington Brewers Festival - it's worth it if you want to make a week out of the trip!

So what you're saying is that some folks won't make it to the conference and I can expect empty rooms?

I'm just hoping that it doesn't sell out before the 7th. No way I can pay for this and Burning Man tickets in the same month.

I would love to make it out for this event, but I would need to pony up a few more hotel nights.  :-\

I just tried to book a room at either hotel.  Both hotels are sold out.  Holy cow!  Sold out in 14 hours.  How many rooms did they set aside, 3?   I'm not going to fly all that way to stay in an off-site hotel.

Guess I'll be going to Boy Scout summer camp after all.  They want me to be the Homebrewing merit badge counselor.   :D

I'll ask Gary or Kathryn check on it, there were some problems earlier with it reporting sellouts when there are a lot of rooms left.

The Hyatt is showing it still has rooms available in our block (though we are down to 11% of the blocked rooms now).  If the issue is with specific dates, we can probably get more rooms added for dates before or after the conference, but we've maxed out all the rooms the Hyatt will give us during the conference with the existing block.  If you have issues booking with the online reservation system, I recommend calling the Hyatt: 425-462-1234.

We've got an overflow block at the Westin Bellevue, which is attached to the Hyatt via sky bridge, and so is very convenient.  When we got the reservation code up last night, it wasn't allowing rooms booked before Wednesday June 20 and presumably after Saturday the 24th.  We've asked them to add "shoulder dates" at the group rate so those coming in early or leaving later can get rooms at the group rate.

We'll be adding additional overflow rooms at nearby hotels as needed.

The hotel and registration is filling up a bit faster than we anticipated.

I'm having trouble registering. It says that everything is $1000!  Anyone else have this problem, and how did you fix it?

The $1000 price means you are not logged in as an AHA member.  If you do have a valid membership and are having trouble logging in, contact our members services department, as they can walk you through the login process: 888-822-6273.

The Hyatt is now sold out of rooms on Tuesday and Wednesday, due to another group that's in the hotel before the AHA Conference.  We're working on getting rooms for earlier in the week at the group rate at the Westin.  Right now you can book at the Westin for Wednesday the 19th through Sunday the 24th.

Anyone know what the refund/cancellation policy is? I can't find it on the site.

Edit: Sorry, I meant for the conference.
