Yep, we take beer seriously over here. So much so we feel it deserves its own temple:

Also, from the article:

Brussels Mayor Freddy Thielemans says that "different options are open" but that "there will be clarity in 2 to 3 weeks."

Sounds like enough time to drop bright.

I hope they steam clean the front steps. Those were a little whiffy when we went up there to waste some time.  :o

In 2009 we visited the Musee des Bieres Belges, in Lustin. Very interesting musty little place, with a great set of taps. They had a lot of older bottles for sale, with stupid cheap prices. They worked off of a price chart, volume vs. ABV . It didn't matter what the beer or brewery was, or the age, just look up the price. I snagged a 1998 bottle of Rodenbach Alexander for 2 euros. We got happily loaded while we were there (had a bus to drive us home).

Heh, I've been there. "Very interesting" is a good way to put it. It's like a hoarder put his disability to good use.

No kidding. And hopefully it'll be a counterweight to the incoming Hard Rock Cafe on the Grand Place. There goes one of the most beautiful spots in the world.
