Yeah, it's unfortunate but we're going to see what we can work out.  The WA laws are a PITA, believe me!

The main problem for Heretic (or any brewery) is that they need to be posted in WA - if they can't legally bring the beer to WA then they can't serve it.

I'm guessing the beer laws in CO are much more festival friendly than those in WA.  It's a state thing.

Yes, exactly.  Our laws are messed up, we had to get the law changed just to even hold the conference with homebrew.

Here's a picture of me with the governor when we got that bill passed  It never would have happened without the other two guys though.  Great people and brewers, they help get things done!

As a funny (to me) aside, the governor didn't know that before this bill when someone in her office brought her homemade alcohol they were breaking the law.
