it's my new favorite hop.  i've always loved stone ruination ipa and i finally got around to brewing with some.  i just bottled an apa sunday that is tasty as all-get-out and can't wait for it to carbonate.

anyway, what hops are people blending with centennial for amazingness in any style?  i was thinking about maybe mixing with some amarillo...

I've used Amarillo, Citra and Sorachi Ace in various combinations but a single hopped beer with all Centennial is pretty darn good.

I have an Oregon Malt Pale coming ready that is dryhopped with Centennial. Can't wait for the weekend!

I've been blending centennial with citra for my 20 minute flavor addition in my AIPA. Awesome combo!

When I do an American Amber or Brown I like to use equal parts Centennial and Willamette for the late additions.

In an APA/IPA/IIPA, you really can't go wrong.

I've found that too much Cents give my beer an unpleasant candy-like sweetness, so I've started to shy away from them.  Maybe I just need to crank up the sulfates with some water treatment.

Anybody tried the Fort George 1811 Lager?
They use Centennial with Saaz and ferment a little warmer than usual for a lager.  I'm having one now and I'm really enjoying it, a bit 'steamy' with a great hop-pop.

Good old fashion cascade is a good hop to blend with centennial and easy to acquire.  Have you ever had Firestone Walker's Pale 31 or Union Jack?  Essentially both beers are a 50/50 late and dry hop blend of cascade and centennial.  Both beers are absolutely fantastic!

Love the FW Union Jack, am underwhelmed by the Pale 31. So far, the only FW variety I haven't really enjoyed.

I'll bet a cent, Nelson Sauvin, Sorachi Ace blend would rock. Maybe a bit of Columbus for bittering.

Really? Maybe it is your source? Mine are always bright, clean and citrusy. I do like to blend them with columbus at the very least because they can be a little one dimensional on their own.
