My dad thought my gruit ale tasted brothy.  But that's a lot of Fungi in that one there.  The best of the single AND multi-celled ones, I'm sure.   :D

Calcs out to 27.5 IBU.  It's Skotrat's Traquair House recipe made with Golden Promise.  It's one of the beers for our club's booth at club night.  The plan is to make the booth look like Kesey's bus Further.

Sounds delicious. I love me some mushrooms.  ;)

I'll have to make sure I make to the booth for a taste.  :)

I love Chanterelles... I'll be very curious to try this at NHC!  I wont tell my girlfriend what's in it until afterward... same trick she uses on her son. ;)

Randy Mosher has a recipe for Chanterelle Mushroom beer in his book, Radical Brewing.

I've never been brave enough to try it.

Expecting it to blow???? I noticed an awful lot of duck tape on the airlock, or are you just trying to make your very first airlock last as long as your blue cooler?

I got the idea from Randy, but it came in the first brewing book I ever got....his "Brewer's Companion"
