Go Down
« on: February 17, 2012, 02:07:18 pm »
For me, on my browser at least, when I open a thread and click 'Go Down' the page jumps to the top post ("Go Up" at the bottom goes to the same place). Glitch or just me? Anyone else?

Hmmmm...works like it should for me.  Using FF 10.0.2 on Win 7.  Also OK on the iPad2 using iOS 5.0.1

What does "Go Down" supposed to do? When I click on it I jump down about 5 lines but not to the end of the page. Running FF 10.0.2 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

Go down jumps down to the next series of posts whereas go up goes all the way back to the first post.

Sorry Ron, I meant when I click on "Go Down" it drops about 5 lines not posts, but still stops on the first post. I'll just hit the end key and navigate that way. Cheers!!!

I'm seeing the same thing in Safari on Mac OS X, and in Firefox on Win7.

Windows XP / IE 8 does work that way for me. FF 10.0.2 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS doesn't.

Under your Profile or way up at the far top left where it says "unread" and "Replies"

Up, up and far, far away. It took me a while to find it, quite a while actually...

So, seriously - is the problem of popping up in the middle of the page rather than at the newest unread message going to be fixed?

I would hope so, but I'm not sure it's a forum software issue.  It works fine for me in both Firefox and Safari.

It's happening for me as well so if there's a browser or forum setting I need to adjust I'd like to figure that out.
