San Diego Mission Beach Area
« on: December 05, 2012, 10:29:57 am »
Ok brewmen, I need to find a good brewery in the Mission Beach area of San Diego.  I'm going this weekend for a getaway, and I am in the need of some great (not just ok) beer.  I don't mind driving, but somewhere in walking distance of the hotel (like I said, Mission Beach) would be preferred!

Really liked the Pizza Port in Ocean Beach when at the 2011 NHC. Might be too far to walk, as it is across the inlet.

Pacific Beach Ale House is in Mission Beach.  I've only been to SD once, but we did make a stop there one evening coming back from La Jolla.  Their beer was good, but they also had some AleSmith, Stone and Ballast beers on tap.  Food there was good also.

+1 on Pizza Port, very good beer and food.
