Basement brewery
« on: February 28, 2012, 08:39:24 pm »
Whew, haven't been able to keep up.

I have just about completed our basement brewery project.

This will be so nice, I'm tired of dragging brew equip from basement to garage to kitchen to shed to garage...you guys know what I'm talking about.

Upgrading the beer dispensery unit to a 3 faucet deal, and got a dedicated lagering fridge.

Life is good!

Beer...It isn't just for breakfast anymore.

I'm thinking about doing that too.
What did you do for ventilation?

Pics as soon as its complete!

Not a big operation so don't get your hopes up!

Tom, I'm still working on the ventilation, plan is a to run a 24" ventilator plus window fans, an intake and exhaust. I did put a carbon monoxide alarm up as a safety precaution.

Bump...I swear I'll get some pics up.

I've only brewed down there once and it was all herky jerky.

Still have to get the new process down.

This thread's starting to remind me of an ex-girlfriend from a long time ago, making all sorts of promises but never showing the goods.   ;D

I'm doing version 1.3.5 right now 8).

For those waiting this is an amateur setup, the most automation involved is a March pump to a 75' counterflow chiller. Which btw works so darn good! 2 weeks ago here i was able to pitch as the wort came out. It was insane!

I'm doing Denny's Rye on Sunday and should have everything streamlined for some professional pics...not pro brewing :)

A little taste of Afghanistan..

The whole enchilada...

The Peninsula Pilsner...my first out of my head recipe. It is good and will be entered in my first contest.

I'm an AHB kinda guy!

I like this layout better than before, I'll put up some actual brewing pics after the weekend.
