The guys at AB are definetly some of the best brewers in the world.  Unfortunetly they choose to brew s***ty beer most of the time.  However, it is a very fine example of s***ty beer.

As Fred Eckhardt said "It takes a lot of skill to brew beer that flavorless".

AB is like McDonalds, if you don't like the beer, don't expect a beer from another batch to be any better. Same goes for the hamburgers at different locations.

I respect them for their consistency. It takes talent to make beer that bad on such a consistent level. I mean, after ten trillion gallons, you would think at least one good batch would have leaked. But no, its crap. Case after case after keg after keg. My hats off to you Mr. Weiser.

I don't know. Bud is ok. Bid light sucks though.

Yes, after all of that hard work, he is sadder, but wiser...   :P

I still like budweiser. one of the biggest reasons i started brewing was they sold out to inbev.  now i like a whole lot of different beers.  win-win. (which is an excellent movie if you like high school wrestling)

FWIW one f the best doppelbocks I ever tasted was a "brewmasters collection" fom "gasp" Budweisser. It was spot on perfect and rivaled some of the  best German ones I've tasted.

I bought a liter bottle of their Brewmasters Reserve (or something like that) at Sam's Club a few years ago for $5.  I didn't expect much, but it was awesome beer.  Truly.

Unfortunately, I didn't drink it right after I bought it and by the time I went back to buy out their stock they were all gone.

I've never seen it since, but I do have fond memories.

So, when does the bacon start coming in the mail?

(not going to start the new weaz's with Holly, until a proper mourning period, like 45 seconds! ;) )
