So I know it's kind of a Midwest thing but I tried finnegans blonde recently and thought it was awesome and now I want to clone it. Does anyone have any recipe ideas or thought?
I would second Big Chicken. Ask them. I just got off the phone with a friend who ran across a nice sweet stout from Empyrean in Lincoln. He told the staff that he liked the beer and had a friend who was a homebrewer. Sounds like they gave him the recipe- we'll see tomorrow when he stops by.
I was thinking pils malt to get around 5% abv then 1.5 oz hallertauer at 60 min and .5oz of saaz at 10 min. Wyeast 1056Would a pound of honey malt have a place in this recipe?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
