Hops for a Belgian Pale
« on: March 02, 2012, 09:11:43 pm »
I'm doing one, mostly as a starter for an upcoming big beer but the guidelines seem to list lots of options. Noble hops, EKG, fuggles, etc. if using noble hops which would better, Hallertauer or Saaz?  Or would EKG be better?
Thanks

I personally like Saaz and Styrian Goldings in this style, but EKG or Hallertauer could work too. Don't be shocked to hear lots of differing opinions on this one. There are plenty of varieties that would work.

I tend to stick with nobles like Hallertauer, Saaz, Tettnang, and Spalt.
