How was the presentation? Did it make you want to go pro or scare you off of going pro?
I already want to go pro, but it was goo dinfo. Nothing totally new, although he did tout the value of alternating proprietorships. Heretic was profitable in the first year of operations! that's huge for a new business with material costs. Maybe it's not such a big deal in the brewing industry. I don't know.
He reiterated the idea that the (as he called it) 'nano dream' was really only useful as a hobby business and
perhaps a proof of concept to garner investors.
One of the things he mentioned that made sense at least from the point of view of a fledgling production brewery was the importance of always having interesting new beers available so that people don't get bored with your stand bys
also the importance of pacing your growth so that your price point can come down as the initial surge of interest wanes.
also the Shallow Grave porter was fantastic!
