Vaguely and faintly tonight driving home, I stopped and went blackout mode....
there on the northern horizon was a glimmer of flickering and glowing methinks
I got a visual! ???

Yes thank goodness. I got the creepy crud...chest cold bronchial crap
while gone and am just now some 20 days later beginning to feel half way normal.

Duly noted thanks Carl.  I can use all the help I can get!
  I have been horizontal with a fever and to top it off I was at a
training facility 1000 miles from home with NO vehicle to even get to medical care. I rented
a car and went to the ER at the insistance of the "nurse". Not a fun training mission. However,
 despite the fever and sickness passed the course.
